Toddler hat and scarf set

I was asked by a schoolmate to make a hat and scarf set for her little girl who is 2 years old.   She also asked for some gloves to go with the set but I have only crocheted one set of gloves (for my daughter) and was not thrilled with the final product.  So I told her that I would be able to make only the hat and scarf but not the gloves.  I decided to use Red Heart Super Saver (RHSS) as it is a good yarn for kids and can withstand a lot of washing.  There was no pattern for the scarf as I just made it up in my head.  For the hat I used Sarah Zimmerman’s of Repeat Crafter Me Sock Monkey Hat as a template for the hat. The flower for the hat was a pattern from Crochet Jewel.    She loved the hat and scarf and her daughter looked adorable in it!

Materials used:

Hook Size: H

RHSS: White 373, Spring Green 672, Petal Pink 373
